For the last 15 years Maplefields has provided a bespoke Behaviour Outreach Service to schools across the north and beyond.
The Outreach Team now works within Maplefields Training & Development and continues to offer a quality service to meet the needs of all Nurseries, Primary and Secondary Schools.
In response to your identified needs our Behaviour Outreach Service also offers to:
- Work with individual or small groups of pupils
- Advise on and support interventions
- Provide training for other agencies
- Give advice and support for the reintegration and inclusion of pupils
- Observe whole classes and offer strategies to support staff
- Assist SENCo/Learning Mentors in the preparation of IEPs/IBPs
- Review school behaviour policies
- Conduct whole school audits
- Review break and lunchtime policies and routines
- Assess where learning and behaviour are affecting the progress of children
- Give support and advice for peer support, buddy training programmes and circle of friends
- Provide training in Positive Behaviour Management for – whole school, teaching staff, lunchtime supervisors, teaching assistants, learning mentors, cover supervisors, foster carers and parents.Evening sessions can be offered for private nursery settings
- Advise on and support children who require help with anger management
- Assist with managing challenging behaviour
- Offer advice to support children with ADHD.
- Make recommendations with regard to raising self esteem in children
- Review the School Behaviour Policy
- Offer advice regarding Circle Time
- Support Positive Parenting
- Help with writing effective IEPs
- Help with Individual Behaviour Support Plans
- Promote Behaviour for Learning
- Promote Independent Learning
- Offer Teacher Training 6hr and 12hr open course or within your school
