Maplefields Primary Outreach Offer

1.  Maplefields Outreach Consultants work with staff to support the development of strategies and provision to improve attendance, progress and outcomes for pupils referred with SEMH difficulties.

Support to the school is provided over a period of approximately 12weeks.  During this time strategies and provision for the pupil are monitored.  Next steps are evaluated, planned and agreed with the school.  In certain situations, re-referrals can be made to extend the time therefore providing continuous support.

Maplefields Outreach is part of the advisory support service which includes Rowan Gate Outreach for cognition and learning, communication and interaction and the Local      Authority SEND support service.

Staff from referring schools should be committed to working alongside consultants from Maplefields.

• We will acknowledge receipt of your referral within 2 working days.
• A member of the Outreach Team will contact you to identify a suitable date for the initial visit.

2.  In addition, consultants work with whole school providing understanding and training around SEMH needs.
